A number of years ago, Rev. Compton helped to initiate restoration of the tennis court/ basketball court that is beside the Agora House, on Belvedere property. It has been enjoyed by our members and youth for a number of years. The time has come for a bit more maintenance, as the basketball hoops have fallen into disrepair.
Denthew Leary and others have begun a fundraising effort to repair or replace the broken parts, with the goal of having the court ready for play in time for the Hyo Jeung Family Fest day on May 27th.
These photos show some of the damage that needs fixing.
The goal is to raise $500 so that the court can be active again and enjoyed by all.
