My name is Donald Cupp. I joined our holy family in 1980 in California when I was 21 years old. I became a CARP member and traveled on a MFT team all over America. In 1982 I was matched and blessed to my Japanese wife Michiyo in the 2075 couple Blessing at Madison Square Garden. Soon after, in 1983 I was chosen to be on the East Garden/Belvedere staff as a security guard. I have been here ever since. We have 3 children (2 boys and a girl) who were born and raised here. I am honored to help the Sunday school team to teach our youth about their deep spiritual heritage and the many blessings Heavenly Parent has given here.

Hello, my name is Regine Navarro! I am 19 and grew up in Elmsford, NY. I’m currently studying architecture at Pratt Institute. One of my favorite things about Sunday school is getting to spend time with the younger kids of my community. I hope they can gain a lot and grow through Sunday school. It’s not the same seeing everyone’s faces through zoom, but I’m still happy we can all come together during these times!

My name is Koki Takanashi, I am 23 years old and this is my 3rd year teaching at Sunday School. I have also been active in the youth group staff for 6 years. i enjoy many hobbies such as origami, gaming, watching shows, and collecting incense.

My name is Asami Shirinova. I have a family of 6 with my husband and 4 children are 12,10,8 and 6 years old. I am very happy to join Sunday school as a teacher because I love little kids and I want to help our church and community.

Hello my name is Rubilyn Navarro and I am a co-teacher for grades K-3 with Mrs. Asami Shiranova. I chose to be a Sunday School teacher because I wanted to give back to the community that has shaped me into the person I am today. Additionally, I enjoy interacting with the kids (both off and on the screen)! During my free time, I like to hang out with my siblings and play volleyball.

Hello! My name is Masaya Funakoshi, 21 years old. I have been in the position of Sunday School Assistant Principal for Belvedere Sunday School for the past 4 years. Sunday School has been an incredible experience every year, filling me with beautiful moments and memories. Having the opportunity to help in the development of the younger generation’s relationship with our Heavenly Parent and True Parents is something I feel deeply proud of. Despite the external difficulties of having Sunday School this year, I hope we can make it a great experience for all the participants!

My Name is Yiru Sugihara. I was blessed with a wonderful husband and four children age from 19 to 25. Children are like gifts from heaven. I am grateful to be working with Sunday School, 6 years as teachers and 4 years as the director. What can be more enriching than working with all the wonderful staff who volunteers to support the families in our community!
