The Peace Road USA 2021 Tour is coming up. There will be five main Peace Road events, one in each Sub-Region.  Below is Peace Road SR1’s main events.

You are invited to Peace Road USA 2021 Northeast Tour (SR1) main events, to be held August 18-19, 2021 in New York.

  • August 18th will be a Peace Road service project at Taqwa Community Farm, located in the Bronx, in partnership with Youth and Students for Peace.
  • August 19th will be the main event, “Bridging Cultures for Peace”, to be held at Joyce Kilmer Park, in the Bronx.  Below are details:

Peace Road Service Project at Taqwa Community Farm, August 18th   
The Peace Road one-day service project will be held at Taqwa Community Farm, August 18, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, located at 90 W 164th Street, Bronx, NY  10452.

The Taqwa Community Farm is a half-acre farm supporting the local community.

Through their Grow to Give program produce is donated to the local community.  The farm even has 21 chickens.  The eggs from the chickens are donated to the local community.

Participation is free.  Youth and families are invited to participate. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.

Bridging Cultures for Peace, August 19th
“Bridging Cultures for Peace”, the Peace Road Sub-Region 1 main event, will be held at 1:00 pm, at Joyce Kilmer Park, 161st Street & Walton Ave, Bronx, NY  10452.  The event will include peace talk and cultural performances.
