Our Belvedere Community Garden Project Update #2
Hello Belvedere family!
Many things have been happening in our garden in the Belvedere Green House since our last update. We have been busy cleaning up the Orchid House adjacent to the greenhouse. The dusty floors and clutter are gone now, revealing the true charm of this space.
We also began building trellis systems for our tomatoes and our cucumbers.
This Bamboo Trellis you see here will support Picklebush Cucumbers.
Cucumbers are climbing plants and this will provide ample material for our cucumbers to grow upwards!
Lastly, we are proud to announce our first flowering pepper plant! With the weather warming up and the sun lasting longer overhead, our plants are going to grow at a much faster rate. So stay tuned for developments! Fruits and vegetables are coming!
